Okay, so Rachel Maddow doesn’t live in North Carolina, but it’s a place near and dear to the HGRM creators’ hearts (Joy used to live there & Summer does now). If you’re from NC, living there now, or know people that do, let them know about Amendment One, which would not only ban same-sex marriages but also prohibit future civil union legislation and strip domestic partner benefits already in place. NC is currently the only state in the Southeast without a constitutional amendment prohibiting same-sex marriage - you can help keep it that way!
