Hey girl, it’s Melissa Harris-Perry!

Hey there fans and followers! It appears your Rachel Maddow Saturday morning news show snuggle days may be closer than you think.

It was announced yesterday that Melissa Harris-Perry’s self-titled show on MSNBC will begin on Saturday, February 18th and will be 10a-12p (Eastern) on Saturdays and Sundays.

If you don’t know who Melissa Harris-Perry is, she’s a frequent sub on TRMS, as well as a kick-ass professor at Tulane University (she sometimes livetweets her classes and Joy pretends that she’s still in grad school) and the author of the new book, Sister Citizen.

Also, if you don’t know who Melissa Harris-Perry is - REALLY?! SERIOUSLY?!
